This Hard cover edition is LIMITED to 650 copies with extra colour plate.

A companion book to the best selling The Art of Adventure. Coll defined the look of adventure illustration. No-one has captured the menace of Sax Rohmer's Dr. Fu Manchu quite like Coll.

For twenty short years before his untimely death at the age of 41 Coll's expressive draughtsmanship graced the pages of The Saturday Evening Post, Collier's Everybody's Magazine and other popular magazines of the time bringing a lasting inspiration to other artists.

Most of the 235 black and white and 15 colour pieces in this second volume have been reprinted for the first time in decades. Many have been shot from the original drawings. Here are incredible illustrations by one of the world's greatest artists at the pinnacle of his career. With 235 B&W and 15 colour illustrations.
