This is the unique original Watercolour painting by John Keay.

A scene from Louisa M Alcott's famous novel Little Women. The painting shows how the authoress had to take on many hard jobs before she found success as a writer. The art board also includes a small panel (not shown) depicting Alcott tending a wounded Union soldier during the American Civil War.
