This is the Signed unique original Gouache painting by Angus McBride.

The Hunger Fighters: A Man Haunted by Poverty. Richard Cobden (3 June 1804 – 2 April 1865) helped to form the Anti-Corn Law League for he knew the law was bringing starvation to ordinary people. Torchlight processions were organised to ram the message home.

Original artwork from Look and Learn no. 502 (28 August 1971). Please note art board has been cut almost in half vertically leaving an obvious join. This was done at some stage of the printing process. The asking price reflects this damage.
