This is a Signed Limited edition print.

This is a Screenprint hand-enhanced by watercolour from a numbered limited edition of just 150 and is printed on Heavyweight BFK Rives paper.

This is as close to an original Moebius watercolour as it gets. Only one available. The actual image size is 380mm x 535mm.

This particular print is marked HC and does not form part of the numbered series. This signifies it was created specially to be kept by the artist or one of the collaborators in the project.

This print published by Aedena in 1995 draws on Giraud's love of Crystals, their symbolism, and possible uses in the beautiful futuristic worlds he created. A subject the artist gained notoriety painting, fabulous examples of crystals abound in his graphic novels, personal works and published images such as his Crystal Saga, rarely however, has there been an example published in such large format.

The fact that each print in the edition was reworked by hand goes to show the importance of this series, and the care Giraud attributed to it.

This rarely available exquisite print is unique due to it's hand colouring, the beauty of the artful screenprinting enhanced by the subtle shades and tonality added by the brushstrokes. The fact this is marked ‘HC’ makes it a real find.
