One of a series of imaginative images of Jimi Hendrix as only the talent of Moebius can create. This image is incredibly rare to come by and forms part of a legendary suite of paintings created by Moebius, limited to 500 copies worldwide.

Printed in exacting detail on quality stock, the print brings together classic elements of Moebius's visual lexicon - from the desert landscape and powerful colour palette, the powerful movement of the protagonist and the naturalistic alien forms floating behind Hendrix's guitar which is carving a dust wave through the Earth.

This is a gorgeous tribute to the late great Jimi Hendrix.

Moebius was asked in 1975 to make an illustration for the cover of an upcoming compilation album with the first 2 records by the Jimi Hendrix Experience; Are You Experienced and Axis: Bold As Love. The artist chose one photo from a set he received, depicting Hendrix as he was eating. Moebius' artistic rendition became the cover of the reissue and has become an iconic image of Hendrix throughout the years. This is an additional painting paying homage to the legendary Jimi Hendrix, who is surrounded by the fantastic world and imagination of Moebius.
