Dr Waring and his colleagues, Dick & Andrew, are competing in a plaster-cast derby to win a handsome donation for the hospital. They ultimately prevail in spite of a team of underhand rival nurses. Their victory comes at a price and they end up laid in hospital beds.

Doctor on the Go was a British television comedy series based on a set of books by Richard Gordon about the misadventures of a group of doctors.
