John Fox, a ships gunner, was one of hundreds of men captured by Barbary Pirates in the 16th century. He endured 14 years as a galley slave before he planned and executed an escape from a prison fort that also freed 240 others. A fantastic action painting from the under appreciated Ken Petts.
