This is the Signed unique original Pen & Ink drawing by Enric Badia Romero.

Axa ignites a torrent of flammable gas in this strip to create a protective barrier between her and the evil toad men.

This is strip #1031 from Romero's epic AXA series. First published in The Sun newspaper on the 26th November 1981. This is part of the story called 'The Eager'.

This strip features two unusually dark and contrast heavy panels flanking a panel showing AXA being blasted by the gas explosion.

There is a small 1cm tear in the left hand boarder of the strip, which does not encroach upon the image.

The strip is hand signed in the centre panel and carries publishers markings in the boarder, as well as official rubber stamps on the reverse.
